Marc Schauss M.Sc. M.Sc.

Marc Schauss completed his Master's degree in Production Engineering at RWTH Aachen University and Automotive Engineering at Tsinghua University in Beijing in 2020. During his studies, Marc Schauss gained experience in strategy consulting and worked in particular on projects in the field of digital manufacturing. Following his studies, he worked as Operations Manager in an early-stage startup focusing on Industry 4.0 applications in production.

Since September 2021, Marc Schauss has been working as a research fellow in strategic technology management and has headed the “Green Production” innovation field at the Fraunhofer IPT since April 2024. He is particularly concerned with the strategic development and processing of current challenges in industry. Key topics include sustainability management, resource-efficient production, and the development of Re-X production technologies for the circular economy.
