Modular Production Machines

"The 'Modular Production Machines' department develops special machines and integration modules for production environments. Our solutions are future-proof: they are characterized by energy efficiency, adaptability and high process and product quality. We consider the process chain and its interactions.

Using digital methods, such as a database connection and process and machine images, we optimize the potential of our machines and process data.

Thanks to their expertise in laser system and heating technology, metal processing and forming technology, our interdisciplinary teams develop innovative production systems and associated products such as components for batteries, fuel cells and electrolyzers."

Developing solutions

For system and process developments in the aerospace, automotive, energy and semiconductor industries, we draw on many years of experience with laser and heating systems as well as tool and forming technology for processing of high-performance materials.

Laser and heating system technology

"Tailored heat comprises thermal laser processes that are ideally adapted to the customer's application. Our goal is the energy-efficient production and processing of high-performance materials, such as high-strength steels or coated films and membranes."

Laser modules in Production machines

From localized heating, drying, or hardening to cutting and welding of delicate sheet metal components – we show how lasers can improve manufacturing processes.

Interlinked production machines

“We develop machines and process chains – such as those needed to manufacture bipolar plates or electrolyzers – for new decentralized systems that can generate, convert and store energy in large quantities. In this way, we support the industry in scaling up for large-scale production.”
