The use of artificial intelligence can improve efficiency in industrial production. As part of various research projects with European aerospace companies, the Fraunhofer IPT has identified six promising fields of application for the use of AI. 

This White Paper offers an implementation guide that divides the process of integrating AI applications into four phases: Identification, Evaluation, Prioritization and Piloting of AI use cases. This process ensures those use cases that make it to implementation are both technically feasible and offer the greatest possible benefit to the user.
